Mother Tree Extended network

Expanded Network

Extended Network Providers support Mother Tree clients and are referred and compensated in the following ways:

1) Sliding-Scale: If a client is referred to the extended network for support (therapy, coaching, psychiatry, massage, or other therapy, healing, education modalities), the process will be the same as those clients referred to Core Practitioners with regard to paperwork. These practitioners will need to be entered into and trained in our billing system. Case managers will handle the referral, and invite Amy or Jen into the process to support the practitioner’s onboarding to the billing system.

2) Insurance or Reduced-Fee Option: If we refer a client both because the mental health practitioner is the best fit and the mental health practitioner accepts the client’s insurance and/or the practice has a reduced-fee system, case managers transfer the client to the extended network practitioner. Some Extended Network providers are supplemental to Mother Tree care. Only if the referral is for mental health and the client will not be in the care of TGM Mother Tree, the original paperwork is kept in TGM files and a copy will be given to the extended network provider. After the client has been transferred, TGM will close the file on our end.

3) Special Case: If a client is referred to the extended network for support (therapy, coaching, psychiatry, or other therapy, healing, education modalities), a reduced fee for service on a case-by-case basis is supported by a case manager or provider. The negotiated fee is paid by client directly to provider. The transactions occur outside of TGM and are between client and provider.

4) Wellness Ticket: Some services (massage, reiki, psychological or educational testing) are not ongoing, may be a one-time only visit, or practitioners only have capacity to provide services at a reduced rate to a certain number of clients per year. When a Mother Tree practitioner becomes aware that a sliding-scale client may benefit from one of these services, the community member in our care pays their TGM practitioner or case manager their regular negotiated rate for a Wellness Ticket to a particular service. The Mother Tree provider/case manager may then request a Wellness Ticket using this form. Once the request is received, Jen will send the QR code to the provider/case manager who will then pass this code on to the community member. The community member will offer the QR as paymet after the service has been rendered, and the provider will use the QR code to request payment from TGM.

Lori Russell-Siemer, LCSW

INSURANCE and REDUCED-FEE OPTION

I perceive the human experience as multidimensional; acknowledging there are many aspects to a person. We are not simply our minds and emotions. I strive to help people naturally achieve balance in all areas of life: mind, body, and spirit. I understand no two individuals are the same, and I tailor our sessions together to address challenges unique to you. We will work together to understand the root cause of your struggles and address those issues with long-lasting strategies, helping you attain your goals. My primary purpose is empowerment.

I specialize in trauma and transitions and offer an eclectic means of achieving goals including Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy (ketamine), Emotional Freedom Technique, Reiki, Human Design, Dream Oracle, Nature Therapy (walk and talks) and a variety of ceremonies to help with rites of passage and/or integration of transitions through major life events.

I work with men and woman of all ages, who have been affected by trauma and/or are experiencing a major change in their lives (including, but not limited to crisis of consciousness, religious trauma, abuse/neglect, attachment wounds, job changes, location moves, divorce, childbirth, loss/grief, psychedelic experiences, perimenopause, menopause, injury, and fears/phobias.)

I earned a Bachelor's in Social Work in 1999 and graduated with a Master's in Social Work the following year. I went on to get my clinical hours through the University of Texas and the University of North Texas. I have been a LCSW since 2003. I began my career with the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services, where I was immersed in the world of trauma and it's impact on the family system. I later worked for a Child Placing Agency, conducting home studies on prospective foster/adoptive families. I ultimately was promoted to a supervisory position, at which time I switched to reading and editing home studies. During the same time, I was raising young children and became heavily involved in my local La Leche League group, co-facilitating weekly support groups for breastfeeding mothers and their young children. We guided mothers in a variety of areas including breastfeeding, health issues, baby wearing, gentle and attachment parenting. In 2009, I experienced a catastrophic loss, when my cousin died by suicide. His death rocked my world and shifted my perspective. I began my search for Truth to questions like "Who am I, and What am I doing here?" I studied Reiki and earned Mastery in 2014. I started a practice and began teaching people the art of Reiki and meditation. I began incorporating therapy into the practice and by 2018, I moved into an office space. I was also initiated into the 9 Rites of the Munay Ki, where I developed a deeper appreciation for Nature, ceremony, and the seasons we go through as humans.

Shannon Swindle

WELLNESS TICKET

Shannon Swindle has been practicing therapeutic bodywork since 2001. Her background as a massage therapy instructor, along with years of collaboration with physical therapists and chiropractors, shaped a thoughtful and compassionate approach to working with the body. She believes careful listening, education, and individualized care are essential to helping clients feel better and heal more effectively.

Her massage work blends clinically informed techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release with stretching and movement to restore function and mobility. Over the years she has worked with a wide range of clients, including expectant mothers, athletes, professional musicians, people living with chronic pain and migraines, and those simply seeking better overall wellness.

In 2014, Shannon expanded her practice into skincare after becoming a licensed esthetician. Her interest in skin health grew from the same curiosity that originally led her to massage therapy: a desire to understand how the body functions and how thoughtful care can support long-term health. Her approach to skincare blends hands-on techniques that support circulation, lymphatic flow, and muscle tone with advanced treatments designed to improve skin health over time.

Shannon is also trained in cosmetic and paramedical tattooing and incorporates neurotoxin treatments into her aesthetic practice. Her understanding of facial anatomy, muscle movement, and skin health allows her to approach facial aesthetics in a way that respects each client’s natural features rather than trying to change them.

At SunShanny Glows, Shannon focuses on treatments that are intentional, customized, and designed to support both immediate results and long-term skin and body health. Her goal is for every client to leave feeling better in their body and more confident in their skin.

Please have Wellness Ticket clients schedule using Shannon’s phone number and let her know they are using a Wellness Ticket.

I am here to care, listen, and truly see you. My approach is rooted in meeting people where they are, understanding their unique circumstances, and working together to explore healing and growth.

As a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, I have been practicing since 2012 with a background in LGBTQ-inclusive primary care and a special focus on hormone therapy. I am passionate about providing innovative, integrative, and effective therapeutic options, including Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, which I studied at the Polaris Insight Center.

I’m committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients aged 18 and older. My practice focuses on mood disorders, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and PTSD. I take pride in being a supportive ally and a compassionate provider for all of my clients.

Zoetic Mindfulness Retreat

REDUCED-FEE OPTION

Zoetic River is held by a small team of dedicated practitioners — sincere seekers committed to the practice of silence — with quiet support from two giant Flemish rabbits.

Zoetic River currently offers silent retreats and Tai Chi & Qigong Classes. Silent retreats vary in length from one-day to three to five day long meditative retreats.

Each retreat is guided by a minimum of three facilitators who move through the experience with you. We are not separate from the retreat once it begins; we are on retreat with you — holding the space, guiding the rhythm, and available for support when needed.

For us, silent retreat is not just another meditation tool. It has had deeply transformative effects on our own lives, which is why we have chosen to devote ourselves to creating spaces where others can enter this work with ease and trust.

We come from different backgrounds and different paths, but are joined by a shared respect for the practice of meditation, inquiry, and direct experience. If you are standing in the doorway, uncertain but curious, we are here to help make that first step forward gentler.

Just show up, we’ve got the rest.
